I got the swine flu! Help me with this question, its weird!?

Alright so last saturday i started felling sick, like my throat was hurting, then on tuesday i stayed home from school and went to the doctor, she tested me for strep throat, and it came negative, but then she tested me for the swine flu, and she said it came back positive, she said that she was going to send a sample to a different lab to examine it and confirm i have the swine flu, now today is thursday and i woke up at 1:30 and my soar throat was gone,most of my runny nose was gone, and my fever was down. So why did it just go away like that? ( before i went to bed i gargled some salt water, used that spray and took a tylenol.) Is there any explanation for this? Please help!

It's not the actual knitting/crocheting that's hard, it's the INSTRUCTIONS. They're nearly impossible to follow. (Especially crochet instructions.) If you have someone actually show you how to do it, it's not so hard. And then once you get used to doing it, you can knit/crochet with your eyes closed.

Who'll win the Welterweight Championship bout: Georges St. Pierre or Dan Hardy?

One thing for sure, I think it will be a great fight. Dan has got a good standing game, and I think that would be his best chance against GSP, but the thing is that George is great at standing so it's still going to be very hard for Dan if it goes toe to toe. I don't think I need to go into GSP's ground game. He is a great wrestler and BJJ fighter so Dan will get a very hard time if it goes to the ground. That's not totally ruling Dan out on the ground game though. I've heard that Dan has been training with Matt Hughes so he may shock us all with some surprises during the fight. I think George will stand with Dan and if he does give him any problems he'll take him straight to the ground. Although Dan is a major under dog he is incredibly hungry for this title and you never no what can happen during a fight. At the same time though GSP has said that he is in the best condition of his life, and he's not taking Dan lightly. In the end though I do think GSP will win. I just think he has the edge over Dan. SRY SO LONG BUT PLEEZ READ!!!!... i found out a few weeks ago(2/17/09) i was pregnant with me n my b/f's 1st child 2gether... everything was goin fine.. i went 2 the doc this past friday(2/27/09) and he said going by my date of my LMP(1/16/09) i was about 6wks along... he gave me n exam.. n tried doin a l u/s but couldnt see anything yet.. but he said i mite not have bin that far along and it could of bin 2 early 2 see nething... so on this past monday(3/2/09) i started spottin and the doc on call told me to go home lay down n relax n if it got worse or i had cramping go 2 the ER... sure enough i have 2 b rushed to the ER... they took blood my hCG was at 702 but still didnt see anything on the abdominal u/s or the l u/s they did... the concidered it a Threatened Miscarriage... i had a follow up 2day wit my doc 2 see if my hCG levels doubled or not which they should of... well they took blood n now i wont know until this coming tuesday wat the results are.... i have still bin bleeding really heavy i had some clotting and bad cramps... and this has bin goin on since monday... i kinda have come 2 terms that i already miscarried or i am in the process of miscarrying... i bin hopin 4 the best but i kno the chances that everything is fine is very slim... so my questions are... has any1 bleed during ur 1st few weeks of their preganacy??? You obviously love this guy and the best way to deal with these situations is to confront him as soon as possible. Even though it was a joke it's probably somewhere in the school rules that you cannot call a teacher by his or her first name. If your teacher were to let you slide by other kids might think it's acceptable too. One detention isn't that bad just chalk it up to experience, and don't call your teacher by their first name (joking or not) unless they tell you it's ok.

You might want to drop the calories to 1200 and see how you feel while maintaining your workout schedule. Remember though it's not a race and there's no reason aggravate the injuries and have to lay off again for weeks. Try some high rep weight lifting as well. I have a Dell Inspiron 530 (not the slim) it has Windows Vista Home Premium, 6g in RAM, Core 2 Duo Processor at 2.80GHz (2 CPUs), it has a 750g hard drive but only like 300 somthing left, it runs at a 64-bit (not sure what this means). It is possible that you could be pregnant, a test will tell you with more certainty. Some women who have had previous pregnancies will have pregnancy symptoms as soon as a few days after conception! As far as your cousins wife getting upset with you if you are pregnant, well in my opinion if she is really a friend she will be happy for you just as you would be happy for her if she was pregnant. Probably better to not rub it her face that your pregnant and shes not, though i'm sure you already know that. When I was pregnant I always waited until I was at least 3 months along before I told others, except for my husband and closest family and/or friends. So maybe you won't have to tell her for little while longer, and you never now, maybe by then she will be pregnant too. Anyway, when you do tell her you can let her know that you are worried about it upsetting her or effecting your friendship and that you don't want it to. Co-signer question.....?

Can a debt collector demand full payment (today) from a co-signer? We made an arrangement to pay1800 then $100 a month for 6 months at which we could "make a pay-off deal" or continue with payments. The 6 months is here and now the firm says that the person that use to work for them shouldn't have made that deal and the 6 months is up and they are demanding that to co-signer pay 2500... today! They sent a letter stating that our payment arrangement has been canceled due to non payment!!! We've been giving them 100 dollars every month faithfully to get the debt paid off and now all of a sudden there is interest that we never knew before that costs us 110 a month so we are falling behind and weren't aware of that until today! Any advice on this? I would like to continue to pay this off but they are demanding that my parents (the co-signers) put it on their credit card today!!!! What should we do? There have been no late payments in 6 months and unfortunatley nothing in writing about our agreement! They are threatening wage garnishment and leins on my home and my parents! Would a loose ground wire on a car make it quit while driving or randomly not start.?

My 1995 ford bronco will randomly stop while driving and I have to wait for it to restart. It will also randomly not start when I go to get in it and after it sits it will start. I know its not over heating, i have had the fuel pump changed, coil changed, ignition module, etc. It is still doing the same thing. I have drove it a ton of miles and then it started again. Would a loose ground cause this? A friend of mine said he had the same issue with his and the loose ground was the problem.

CSE hearing even though 'stay' was filed w/ custody petition, is this unusual?

My son's father was ordered to pay child support and to put our son on his health insurance by Child Support Enforcement when our son was 3 months old. His attorney challenged the order, a hearing was set for several months later because they are so back-logged. In response to being ordered to pay support, he filed for split custody asking that I pay support and provide insurance. With his petition his attorney asked for a 'stay of administrative proceedings'. My attorney told me there would be no hearing, that the child support would be handled at the custody trial. My son is now 10 1/2 months old, and I was just reminded by CSE of the hearing date approaching. The hearing is still going to happen. When I told them I thought this issue was going to be handled in judicial court, they told me it would be a temporary order until our case goes to trial. I've never heard of this and my attorney was not expecting it. Don't get me wrong, I am very glad because I could really use the child support! Just wondering if this is typical? Is it because I am on food stamps and my son is on Medicaid?

It's hard for me to say what I would do because it's hard to imagine a person being found guilty and then let go anyway. I respect the rule of law even when I disagree with a particular outcome. I don't agree with vigilante justice but I can comfortably say that because I live in a place where the criminal justice system, while not without it's flaws, at least isn't as corrupt as that. Hmm...writing tips people?

I have a few thoughts. First off, I'd consider limiting the use of parentheses. They work as an interruption to the reader and can take the reader 'out' of the story. Usually anything in parentheses can work as a stand alone sentence. Secondly, I'd consider changing the word 'smug' when you are talking about Jason at the end of this piece. The word has a negative connotation, which is why it works with the other character, Ahaana. I don't think you want a negative label with a character who looks like he's going to be the hero. I'd suggest playing with something to replace that word with. Think about what you want to accomplish with the smile. Is he pleased he could help her? Another thought is to do away with the smile completely. It's overused in writing anyway, and most people use it as an easy out instead of putting more thought into facial expressions. Could he be puzzled by her terse response? Afraid he's hurt her feelings? Or how about touch? Could he touch her desk top with fingertips as he goes by? See how you can change the whole interaction simply by changing a smile to something more interesting? Third, I agree with some of the other answers here that my first thought was this was another Twilight story. Mainly because the internet seems swamped with Twilight wanabees. Plus, your phrase about his super human brain made me think that. Since you've received similar feedback on the Twilight connection from more than one person I'd suggest also looking at changing the phrase that is making people target Twilight. You could simply delete the super charged brain phrase and use something else like that shows more of both characters. Try something like her wondering why he can be so smart at math when he's so bad at...some other course in school, some sport, talking to kids, etc. Or use it as a way to show a character trait of hers, as in, he's as good at math as she is at winning drag races or endurance horse trials...whatever is a strong character point for her. And finally, you have a good writing voice that is individual, and you have a great humor that is subtle and comes through in the character's thoughts. I'd strongly suggest you keep writing and working this piece. Remember to give readers something to care about with these characters. As in, what conflicts, internal and external, do they have? Readers want to cheer a character on, boo and hiss for the antagonist, and root for the protagonist to grow by the end of the story. That holds true for all the characters. Oh, and make sure the plot doesn't turn into a cliche school romance. Give the readers more than that. Sorry for the long answer, but keep going and good luck.

I recently went to a chinese home decor store and found these beautiful wood carvings with bats in it. At first it kind of creeped me out because bats remind me of horror movies and the occult. But the carvings were beautifully done and I wanted to purchase them, but i was reluctant because I'm not sure what they signify in Chinese folklore. I know that cranes symbolize longevity, fish prosperity and abundance, elephants wisdom. They're not in the carvings just randomly. A new snake needs a little time to settle in to a new home. Wait a couple of days and try to offer food again. It is good to know if your snake was being fed frozen/thawed, live or pre-killed rodents before you got it. Try to offer food at differant times of the day. Pet shops are not open 24/7 to be able to feed ball pythons at night. Give your snake the right temperatures to spur on it's appetite and, do not allow the feeding tank to become chilled. Sometimes you can get some rodent litter from the mice cage at a pet store. This litter has a strong rodent scent because the live mice are running around in it. Drop a little bit of this into the feeding container the next time you feed your snake. It has a tendency to increase the feeding response at times.

Atheist friend being converted to religion?

I'm a chemist. In my spare time, I'm a ham radio operator. As a result of my highly ytical and skeptical nature as well as bad experiences with religion in the past, I am pretty much as atheist as it gets. Words can not describe the burning pion with which I hate religion, especially Christianity. I value to an exceedingly high degree the few atheist friends I have as it is with them that I can most most honestly and deeply connect. Lately, one of my closest atheist friends seems to be getting drawn towards Catholicism in a hurry. I don't feel that it is my place to try and tell him what to do, especially because his religious development was already fairly advanced by the time he let me in on it. I don't want our relationship to change and I ultimately want him to do whatever makes him happy, but I still find it terribly upsetting that someone so close to me is falling into a belief system which I personally loathe and fear might ultimately cause him to resent me.
