What happens when you inhale a small object?

I'm not 100% sure what will happen, but my best guess is that it will eventually be pushed out of the lungs. If you breath a gnat though your mouth, it usually ends up in your nose or the back of your throat to be spat out, in a few hours, so my guess would be the same will happen here.
