I'm having serious boyfriend trouble. Please help.?

My boyfriend and I have been on and off for more than a year but weve been going steadily for 4 months now. We are 16. He is usually sweet &nice. We say I love you to eachother because we really love each other but im afraid he loves me too much. He is very possessive and its scary. He gets jealous when i hang out with other boys (even if i'm with girls too) but he can hang out with JUST girls whenever he wants. He has a very bad temper but has never actually touched me. He throws his phone and breaks it and actually cracked his windshield with it. I feel as if hes obsessed with me. He gets jealous when I TALK to another boy even if hes standing next to me. I love him and care about him and im afraid if i break up with him again we'll just end up getting back together. Ive broken up with him before and he gets depressed and i feel so bad that i take him back. I care so much about him and I dont want to see him get hurt again but i dont think i should be going out with him. What do i d?
