Should i get a perm? please help!?

i can't decide if i should get a perm. i really want to do something different with my hair. i already hav naturally curly hair well i kindof have curly hair i used to but the curls have been fading away and now my hair is wavy straight and its always frizzie. so i was thinking maybe i should get a perm so my hair could become curlier but i also have realllly thick hair and i dont really want my hair to poof out a lot. the type of hair i want is like paula rubio shes a hispanic singer and she has gorgeouss hair could i get curls like hers if i get a perm? please help and also how much would it cost do you think? thank you so much for all your help i reallly appreciate it
