Why does the right wing call Hugo Chavez a dictator if Chavez was democratically elected by the people?

The poor might have elected him because of the free things he offered, but have you done any research at ALL as to what he has done since being put into office? Either your ideology is so sound that facts can't break the wall or youthful ignorance has a strong hold. Check out what he's done with the media and companies for instance not to mention the food?
